“Another Day In Paradise”
Each print design is based on the effects of fashion in the 1950s and how that has been reborn into the current recession. An investigation into how women’s role has changed over the years, setting out to recreate clothing that people can empathise with.
This work is designed around what was once seen as exciting nightwear and has now moved to daywear. It attempts to stimulate & reflect a sense of play that women want to indulge in from that era rather than live that lifestyle now.
